Inkberry Art is my little art business that I'd been trying to start for about ten years. Now that I'm nearing retirement and working less hours the time was available to read and fill out all those forms and build a website.

My first charcoal drawing I can remember was of President Dwight D. Eisenhower speaking on television when I was about four or five years old. I showed Mom and she pointed out how the collar of his coat passed behind his neck too low, making his neck look long.

I started oil painting when I was in high school, but took no lessons until long after in local adult ed courses, taking one in oil painting, one in life drawing, and one in portrait painting. Other than that I'm self-taught. The paintings I've presented are those that I enjoy looking at. I hope you enjoy them, too.
